winterized and now is officially
closed
for the season. It will
reopen in early April to allow you to
prepare your boats for the May
launch and for the 2010 Sailing Season.

Algoma Sailing Club Pennant Flags
Are available for sale for $20.00 If you don't have yours then do contact Brian or Neil.
Sailing is easy just watch our movie of the Richards Landing Race 2008 Video (60.7 megbytes, 8.75 minutes, windows media video format, use right click to "Open" to view immediately or to "Save Target to hard drive" if using dial up speed. 
  • Our Club Functions, Events, Special Races, and River Races, are listed on our Events Calendar.
  • Looking for for Adventure with a bit of fun? Participate in our short River Races and pit your skills against time, wind. If your looking for a basic river race course map it's also located in the River Race section.
  • Memberships are open to all ages for full and associate memberships. Our Membership Forms are online and can be downloaded.

  • Launch your sailboat by using our boat launch and docks. Our Rented Crane Services during Spring Haul-In and Fall Haul-Out makes boat launching fast and easy. (see memberships for cost.)
  • Boat anchorage with in our natural sheltered harbor is ideal for small boat protection with the largest boats mooring just outside.
  • Social Events are Fun and are a great way to create new friendships.
  • Free Tours. Your more than welcomed at any time to drop by and visit any of us at the Clubhouse. Enjoy your stay next door at Bellevue Park and at the Topsail Island causeway.
